God told Jonah, His friend to go to Ninevah and tell the people there that they are heading for some rough times if they do not straighten up and fly right. Jonah did not want to go so he left in the opposite direction on a boat. There was such a big storm and Jonah knew it was because he disobeyed God. So the boat director threw him off the boat right into the path of a very hungry whale. After three days the whale spit him out. It was very troubling and Jonah was shaking in his boots. God did tell him again to go to Ninevah and save the people or they will be punished for being so bad. Now Jonah was happy to go and after telling the people how good God is and that He loves them so much, the people were sorry and asked God to forgive them.
The times we are in right now could be compared to the Bible times.
2nd Chronicles 7:14 says "if my people who belong to Me will humbly pray ,seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven forgive their sin and heal their land. " How about this promise?
I seen all of us walking towards a sunrise and as we walked more and more people joined us. We are suppose to be a light in the dark places. Smile and laugh even if you don't feel like it. Help others smile and laugh. Say only uplifting and encouraging words. When you have to wear a mask, make your eyes smile. As believers, ya gotta bring em home, kiddos. Try Isaiah 61 on for size. TPT
I believe in Kids. They are willing to try new things. Take my grandson Langston. He never played a trombone but he is willing to learn and say yes he can play. How many adults can say yes I can before they even dig in. He knows that he can. Even if he hasn't tried. maybe more adults should iron those words into their clothes and say it many times and then believe like a kid.
We can't do it on our own strength. Are you ready?
Ezekiel 1:9- "their wings touched one another; their faces did not turn when they moved, each went straight forward. 12- And each went straight forward; wherever the spirit was about to go, they would go, without turning as they went."
This may sound way out. It is fun to read scripture because sometimes it is way out. We are called to move forward, don't look back, but move. If you get off and start nursing and rehearsing the problem or the circumstance that upset you"", good luck.
The Bible has many passages that help you get through and move along. This one is a fun visual.
I don't know what lies ahead but if we keep moving forward, we will find out. So when you feel stuck, say ""Holy Spirit, let me follow You. Show me the path into the next hour and guide me. Keep my eyes focused on You.
