God's Promises iron-on scripture was created by Priscilla Santi. Priscilla is a religious education teacher and a former dance teacher and studio owner. As a religious ed teacher she is always searching for fun easy ways to teach children the Word of God.
It first began with placing Ephesians 6... put on the Whole Armor of God inside christening dresses.
“Put on the Whole Armor of God. Put on the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, shoes of the Gospel, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation and the sword of the spirit which is the word of God” Ephesians 6
Baby bonnets received the Helmet of Salvation on the back of bonnet. It grew from there.
Iron-on scriptures is an avenue for kids to see the words and speak it out over themselves. The Bible says that God does not let His word go forth without doing something on our behalf. So, why not?
Can you imagine if a child is having a hard time at school for any reason? He can look at the word in his shirt, say it over himself and believe the Word to be true— not the circumstance. That situation is power in the Holy Spirit.
“I am the temple of the Holy Spirit” 1 Cor. 6:19
Our scriptures are printed in Phoenix, Arizona. And assembled by women, some grandmas, some in Priscilla's bible study group, and some of her closest friends.
One of Priscilla's four daughter's, helps with operations and marketing. Her second grandson, Jake, drew the logo. And the business name, Phoenix Nest for Kids, is named after her fifth grandson, Phoenix. "It all starts with your grandchildren." Priscilla says.
Priscilla is pictured here with seven of her eight grandchildren.
