"You are Precious to Me and I love you" Isaiah 43:4
According to Webster’s dictionary: Love is
- A deep and tender feeling of fondness and devotion (a Father’s love for His child)
- A sweetheart (His own true love)
- To feel love for (to love all mankind)
- Fall in love (begin to love)
I believe all love originated in heaven with our Father. The One Who started all this love stuff. Then we as His kids brought it down to earth to kiss and hug and give it out.
“And above all these put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony.” Colossians 3:14
I iron this scripture often in my own clothes. I need to know and believe I am loved. Being on the receiving end is sometimes more difficult because we become vulnerable and humbled. Today I am going to say Father, love me so I feel your love. Hold me for no reason at all except that I am your child. Then close your eyes and let Him hug you. Stand up and put your arms around His neck and hug Him back. Use your imagination. I do that many times until I feel something. If this is hard and seems childish, I encourage you to just try it. You will like it.
After we have experienced His love, then we can love others. Love is a key. Love opens doors.
The Bible says that even though you could speak many languages, know what is going to happen in the future, know everything about everything, have the gift of faith so that you could speak to a mountain and make it move and even if you give everything to the poor and was burned alive for preaching the Gospel but didn't love others, it would be of no value.
It is not easy to be a lover, especially to those who you get under your skin. Work on that. Ask God why? Then say you are sorry and get going. If you are reading this far into this message, you already know the drill. God Bless You. You get the forgive and forget message and without a but attached to it. Once you make an effort to love everyone, everyone, then life becomes less serious and more fun. I love the fun part. Be blessed.
Love,Priscilla
